Days 1 and 2: Kathmandu

Your trip begins with leisure time in Nepal’s capital, Kathmandu. Take an early-morning yoga class, go sightseeing, or take an optional tour (additional fee applies).

Day 3: Pokhara

In the morning, the group is transferred to Pokhara. You can spend the day relaxing before your Himalayan trek or go on an optional whitewater-rafting excursion on the Trishuli River ($110/person).

Days 4–8: Himalayan Trekking

Over the next 5 days, you’ll trek through the Himalayas along with a Sherpa crew and experienced guides. You’ll spend each night in a comfortable lodge.

The first leg of the trek will take you through scenic towns, across open rice fields, and past a waterfall (4 mi trek). On day 5, you’ll arrive at Banthanti, an alpine town situated in a forest clearing at 7,545 feet (7 mi trek). Here, you can take in panoramic views of Annapurna South and Mount Fishtail.

The group will reach several vistas with unobstructed views of the Himalayan peaks on day 6 (7 mi trek). From here, the trail climbs steeply. You’ll leave the mountain forests and enter a field of cane. In the village of Tadapani—which translates to “Far Water”—you’ll see Annapurna, Gangapurna, and the Glacier Dome.

Day 7 takes you on a descent through a forest of wildflowers and long-tailed monkeys (4 mi trek). You’ll tour the village of Ghandruk, visit a local museum, and attend a wool-weaving workshop.

On day 8, the last day of the trek, the trail descends through terraced fields on a scenic, river-hugging path (9 mi trek). When you arrive at Nayapul, you’ll be shuttled back to Pokhara.

Days 9 and 10: Chitwan National Park

A UNESCO World Heritage site, Chitwan National Park is situated in Nepal’s lowlands. The park is one of the last refuges of the single-horned Asiatic rhinoceros and the Bengal tiger. Within the park, you’ll take a short walking tour and see a presentation on the wildlife.

On day 10, you’ll take a canoe trip through the park in the morning and climb aboard an elephant for a safari in the afternoon. Keep on the lookout for leopards, sloths, deer, monkeys, and wild boar.

Days 11 and 12: Kathmandu

You can spend day 11 exploring Kathmandu before catching a flight home on day 12.

Price was unbeatable, customer service was quick, friendly and efficient. We got our paperwork very timely and all the other information we needed. The hotels we stayed at were actually very nice! Canggu is much better than Seminyak, the food is amazing and the shops are super cute! Ubud was also really great! Our Balinese connection there, Macca Made, was phenomenal and set up optional tours for us while we were there at great rates. I'd definitely recommend - very easy and very much enjoyed!!
