Q:

is this price good for 6 people. I'm thinking of taking my son and daughter with their spouses along with my husband? can we get a larger vehicle that holds 6 with luggage, or do we have to have separate vehicles per couple?

Sue B.  asked on  Jan 22, 2013

A:

You would need to buy 6 vouchers. As for the car, we can check if we can get you a minivan large enough to fit 6 people with luggage. The maximum we did was 5, so I think it's possible.

Q:

Can we extend the New Zealand part of the trip only? Also, what is a 'solo fee'?

Steve P.  asked on  Jan 22, 2013

A:

You can extend New Zealand portion, but it won't be a Groupon booking as you're diviating from Groupon itinerary and seat and room allocations. Please email us at reservations@pacificislands.com with your travel dates and desired itinerary. The price of the package is based on 2 people sharing a room (each pays half). When only one person travels there's a solo fee in addition to the package price to cover for that other half of the room charge.

Q:

Is there a minimum age? How does the shared rental work?

Kelly M.  asked on  Jan 22, 2013

A:

You have to be 18, oherwise accompanied by an adult. You share a car with another person(s) in your party.

Q:

Can additional days in Honolulu be purchased?

Carol W.  asked on  Jan 22, 2013

A:

Yes.

Q:

It is SO unfair that you charge $650 solo fee -- it's not like it's a cruise with limited capacity. There is no additional cost to you for solo travelers - I'm tired of being discriminated against.

gloria s.  asked on  Jan 22, 2013

A:

There's additional cost as the price of the pacakge is based on 2 people sharing the room (each pays half of the room rate). Someone has to pay the other half if only one person is traveling. It's not a discrimination, it's a simple math.
