More prudent adventurers can take in the scenery (and see where Knievel jumped) by whitewater rafting through Snake River or hiking the Canyon Rim Trail. Another worthwhile hike is to Shoshone Falls, often called the Niagara of the West. The tranquil path (or drive) rewards visitors with a view of waterfalls spilling down a rugged, 200-foot-high rock face, and it’s just 3 miles east of Twin Falls.
