Q:

I want to buy groupon for a the last week in aug 26 to the 28th but will not now if can get time off and deal ends in 1 day will you have more deals after today also on the breakfast do you have a menu if my husband does not like what is made that day he is very picky he just likes eggs and meat.

Tina  asked on  Jul 7, 2013

A:

The deal ends tomorrow evening. We probably won't run another special until early winter. Our three course breakfast is a "Chef's Choice" breakfast and varies from day to day. We always do a muffin course, a fresh fruit course and a hot entree each day. Granola and yogurt is the alternative for breakfast. We try to feature local produce and farm fresh eggs as our menu is geared toward healthy choices. Unfortunately for your husband, we do not offer any breakfast meats.

Q:

I'm about to book a honeymoon suite for check-in July 26 and check-out July 28 through Groupon. The Dreamcatcher is available then and that's the room I'd like to be in. How does that work? Can I request a specific room after I book with Groupon?

mark p.  asked on  Jul 7, 2013

A:

I'm awfully sorry, but the Dreamcatcher Suite is not available. in fact, we don't have anything left except the Whispering Pines Room. would another weekend work? You can reserve a specific room, but check the availability calendar on our web site first. I don't have Dreamcatcher available for a weekend until Thursday and Friday August 1 and 2nd.

In order to check in on a Friday, you'd need Option 3 or 4. Options 3 and 4 are valid for check-in Thursday–Saturday.

Is it possible to book a 3 night stay? If so, how would I do that with the groupon. (We thought about buying 2, but can't get away for 4 nights)

Lynn B.  asked on  Jul 3, 2013

A:

You would buy a Groupon for the first 2 nights, and we could offer you our lowest, off-season rate for the 3rd.

Q:

how far of a drive to lake sunapee and any shopping and resturants

Tina  asked on  Jul 3, 2013

A:

We are only 5 miles to Newbury Harbor, 8 miles to the State Park Beach and about 12 miles to Sunapee Harbor. The Lake is 9.5 miles long. we have the Appleseed Restaurant right in town...about 2 miles down the road, Bubba's is right across from Newbury Harbor, about 5 miles from here. Henniker is 10 miles and New London is about 12 miles. Traveling here is on country roads so it takes a little longer. New London is a small college towns with shops and restaurants. Concord is our state capitol but still a nice small town with lots of little shops, restaurants, galleries etc. that is about a half hour drive.

Q:

I was looking for the calendar to see if there is any avl for July 21? I can't see it in here? Do you have any rooms open for that day and if so how do I make the reservation? Do I call the hotel? Also, can we bring our 2 daughters? 7 and 4. Very well behaved! Thank you

Tinka M.  asked on  Jul 2, 2013

A:

We do have availability for July 21st and 22nd. I'm not sure why it's not coming up when up on the "check availability" on our calendar listed on our home page. Unfortunately, we are a quiet, romantic destination inn that caters to honeymooners. As such, we do not take children under 12. We just don't have the accommodations for them. Our Groupon package is only for double occupancy. I'm sure you understand. We'd be happy to recommend other lodging in the area if you'd like.

Q:

After booking a stay for my daughter I realized that you have to be 21 years old to check in. Will it be a problem that my daughter's boyfriend is 21 and she is only 19?

Jeannine M.  asked on  Jul 2, 2013

A:

It's not a problem, but we will have to forego the wine portion of the voucher. although her boyfriend is 21, she is not and we couldn't send a bottle of wine to their room under those circumstances. I'm sure you understand. It's a State of NH liquor law.
