It was a shame... very empty which meant few staff and closed restuarants. The worst part though was that we left our $200 BOSE dock there and it apparently vanished... So, not quite so great a deal after all. The hotel was clean though and the rooms were nice.

Punta Cana, Dominican Republic: Miles of White-Sand Beaches

When Christopher Columbus landed on the Dominican Republic more than five centuries ago, he described it as “a beautiful island paradise.” Punta Cana, located on the island’s easternmost tip, lays legitimate claim to that description. The coast stretches for more than 20 miles and is dotted with coconut palms, chaise lounges, and laid-back bars. Glitzy resorts feature prominently along the shoreline, but Playa El Cortecito, a short drive up the coast, harks back to earlier times. Brightly colored, thatched-roof shacks line the beach, and local fishermen bring their boats to shore each afternoon with the day’s catch.

I do NOT recommend this hotel The customer service is horrible, just the chek in guy and the lady's at the spa are so sweet but the rest about the hotel is very poor In first place the landscaping is not on point, the menu is incredible,no variety of food at all, if your allergic to sea food this is not the right place to eat I drive every day 35 min away the hotel to go find any other place to eat 2nd when we request ice (room service) they take to long almost an 1 hr, and at the end of my stay my boyfriend and I open 2 bottles of wine just to trying but the taste was horrible so we left the bottles completely The manager said in every room they has 10 different bottles of wine witch we don't know because nobody tell us that, they said everything is complementary witch is NOT true after that they said is one bottle missing,I try to explain him everything we can pay the bottle that is not a problem but we are honest they see the two other bottles there and the rest completely there and they try to charge us another bottle witch they did They charge $9900 US dollars for the supposed missing wine bottle I'm very disappointed with this hotel honesty is very important and for those people there US dollars is the priority, they don't care if they loose you like a guess I told them that is a good way to still Us$ dollars of tourists I never go back to the Sivory hotel is so nasty
