Q:

Why is it more expensive to stay for two nights ($249) than it is for just one ($119)?

Stephanie M.  asked on  Jun 26, 2013

A:

I think you are referring to the average cost. The $119 deal is restricted to Sunday through Thursday. The $249 deal has no restriction. By playing with various deal combinations any guest can get exactly what they want at the best price. So if you want to say Wednesday through Sunday, then you can purchase 2 one night deals and then 1 weekend deal. Then combine them and there you go. Otherwise we would have had to create all sorts of various deals or made everyone pay more for the less desirable days.

Q:

What are the sleeping arrangements for 8 people in a two bedroom unit? Thanks!

Matthew M.  asked on  Jun 26, 2013

A:

For the most part this is not recommended unless you are just looking for a place to sleep, which is quite common. Here is how you would sleep 8 in a standard two bedroom. 2 people in the master. 2 people in the second bedroom. 2 people on the queen sleeper sofa. 2 people on air mattress positioned somewhere in the condo. We do have a few units that sleep 8 in beds because there are bunk beds or murphy beds, but we only have a few of these and they tend to be the properties that get rented first.

Q:

Can I stay for more than two nights? I would like to stay for 3 or 4 nights.

Scott C.  asked on  Jun 25, 2013

A:

Yes you can stay longer. You may combine more than one Groupon voucher and/or you may purchase extra days directly from us.

Q:

When one books through Keystone Resort, activities passes are always included. Does this apply with the groupon?

Renae  asked on  Jun 25, 2013

A:

No the passes you are referring to are NOT included. However, keep in mind that you DO PAY for these passes from the resort. They charge almost double what we charge. You decide if it is worth an extra $100 per night for a couple of rounds of put put golf. We think it is better to just let you pay for the things you actually want to do instead of giving you a book full of things that you don't want to do.

Q:

Looking to come in on a Thursday night and stay friday also. Which of the prices would apply for that? I'm hoping the check-in sunday through thursday one? Alos are any of the pools outdoors? Thanks!

Bethany F.  asked on  Jun 25, 2013

A:

If your stay overlaps a more expensive time frame, then you will have to pay for the more expensive option or you could just purchase one additional night at the current rate. All pools are outdoors and heated. There are several pools, most of them are either right outside the building or at most a 2 minute walk to them.

Q:

are pets allowed?

Julie L.  asked on  Jun 25, 2013

A:

Sorry! The resort does not allow pets. We think it is pretty strange to be in the middle of a National Forest and not allow pets, but hey it is a strange strange world we live in. Moose, bears, foxes, rabbits, and everything else is fine, but no dogs or cats :-(

Q:

Can this offer be used for the weekend of July 5th and 6th? What if it is already booked if I purchase it?

Cody j.  asked on  Jun 25, 2013

A:

There are no blackout dates. All reservations are first come first serve. If we do not have an open unit and you do not want to book for another time, Groupon will give you a FULL refund. Our refund policy only comes into effect once you have booked your actual stay, NOT when you buy the Groupon!

Q:

So, regarding the one bedroom, extra expenses include the taxes, plus an additional fee for processing the order, plus a cleaning fee? What is meant by cleaning fee "UP TO" $69? Is it $69 or another amount? Is that the total or per night? D-Lo

DM  asked on  Jun 25, 2013

A:

The cleaning fee is a one time fee. The cost is the same if you stay 1 night or 10 nights. Occasionally guests are unhappy that they have to pay a cleaning fee for just a night or two, but the cost to us is the same regardless of the stay. We have to clean and change everything out for the next guest.
