Q:

What upgrade opportunities exist for something like the Caldera Cabins? I would like a two bedroom (or one with a sleeper) for 3 people that has a kitchen and is newer/has higher end amenities including hot tub for this wkend - Fri 4/5 (or Sat 4/6), departing Mon 4/8. Do any of the restaurants accommodate Gluten Free for those with Celiac Disease and other allergies i.e., Dairy, Egg? Thank you!

Diana A.  asked on  Apr 4, 2013

A:

The Groupon voucher is only valid in our hotel style accomodations and cannot be used towards any of our vacation rentals because those units are privately owned. If you purchase two of the vouchers then you could upgrade one room to a Lodge Village Suite for $49 per night plus taxes and resort fees and then have an attached Lodge Village Guestroom with 2 double beds. The Lodge Village Suite does have a kitchenette and also all of these accomodations would have access to nearby hot tubs. We do also have gluten free menu items at the Meadows at the Lodge restaurant.

Q:

Hi. How do we upgrade to a River Lodge for the nights of May 17-18? do we buy the groupon, call and make the reservation and request? We want to be sure we can get a king bed.thanks.

Mark E.  asked on  Apr 3, 2013

A:

I did go ahead and check the availability for those dates first and we do have the River Lodges with a king bed available. The upgrade cost would be $39 per night plus 8% tax and 15% resort fee. You would want to purchase the Groupon voucher and once you receive your voucher, give us a call and we can book the room and do the upgrade for you at that time.

Q:

How much do bike rentals and horseback riding cost? Is there an extra cost for the observatory and nature preserve?

Jaynine  asked on  Mar 27, 2013

A:

The cost of bike rentals would depend on the type of bike you wanted to rent and for how long. The same for horseback riding. It would depend on how long you wanted tor ride as there is 1 hour, 2 hour, etc. The nature center is $3 for adults and $2 for children. The observatory is $6 for adults and $4 for children. You can call our concierge at 800-801-8766for more pricing.
