If you travel with dogs THIS IS YOUR PLACE!!! We travel with our dogs all the time. Our dogs are exceptionally large. We have Great Danes. Our male is 180 lbs. he was with us this trip. I have never been more accommodated in my life. They were over and above for us! We will be back and will bring the dogs!!!! Amazing experience ___

We Will Be Back!! 10/10 Recommended My husband and I made a decision to combine Thanksgiving and our anniversary into one trip to Myrtle Beach and The Ellie did not disappoint. The Ellie is billed as a new hotel (it is), but the property has been completely remodeled. You can see some evidence of it's age if you look reallllly closely, but absolutely nothing that changes the experience! The view - INCREDIBLE! The room and bed was comfortable, big enough for our stuff, plus our pupper and her "condo"/crate. Everyone was extraordinarily friendly from the front desk to the restaurant down to the housekeeping staff. We had Thanksgiving dinner in the hotel restaurant - delicious and reasonably priced (we had pizza!); the bartender did not skimp on our drinks, and did I mention the view? The only suggestion I have is adding brooms or a small stick vac in the closet of the rooms for in-between housekeeping. and sand+LPV floors = major icks. (We had our dog who gets stressed out w/people she doesn't know, so we decided to save housekeepings ears and our dog's anxiety level) Thank you, Hilton, for a great Thanksgiving @ The Ellie PS - Don't forget to ask for warm Doubletree Cookies @ the front desk ;-)

No southern charm from this staff Susan and Denise were unhelpful. I'm a Hilton Diamond member and they were unresponsive and basically harassed me when I was trying to get work done to get out of the room. Usually they give us late checkout for top tier status members. They don't honor that here. I don't mind being g charged for a couple of extra hours (expense account after all -- I'm working) but to be hounded and given misleading information is not cool. Extra charges for extra rudeness not a well run hotel or well trained staff.

Disappointed expected more from Hilton establishment. Prices didn't match experience at the hotel. Stayed three nights anniversary trip. I usually stay at resorts, so I expected more than I received service and hospitality at this Hilton establishment. The best part of the room was modern and no carpet. Outside dated and reservation location inconvenient. Overall no thrills.
