Q:

We Stayed here last year with this groupon and had a very nice time. We are looking at doing this again for two nights for my Dad's 65th birthday but it says no gifts. Can I buy two and use them for two seperate rooms on the same nights? Or have my husband buy one and I buy one and my Dad stay in my husbands room? What are the rules about this?

Hi Evette: No problem. Just buy two vouchers and we'll book two different rooms for two nights for you. Cheers, Gary, Front Desk Team

Q:

Hey I tried to purchase a trip to Runaway Bay Jamaica yesterday that expired on the 2nd and it took all my credit card info and today I received an email that said I was too late and that my information was wrong so I tried a different card and it accepted it.... So did I purchase my trip twice? Did I purchase it at all? I am so confused. It shows up when I click on my groupons...

A:

Hi Lindsay: Your question popped up on our Merchant Account (Harbour House Hotel, Salt Spring Island, BC, Canada). So, I fear your question has not gone where you expected. I'm guessing you will need to contact Groupon directly. Regards, Gary, Front Desk Team

Q:

What would be the least expensive way to get from Seattle to Saltspring Island? Train to Vancouver, transit to ferry and walk on, or ferry from Port Angeles, WA to Vancouver Island and then ferry to Saltspring? Other thoughts?

Rebecca d.  asked on  Dec 31, 2012

A:

Hi: The least expensive way, I think, would be by walk-on ferry (Seattle to Victoria), public bus (Victoria to Shwartz Bay Ferry Terminal), walk-on ferry (Shwartz Bay to Fulford Harbour on Salt Spring) and bus from Fulford Harbour to our Visitor Centre in Ganges, about a ten minute walk from the hotel. I'm not familiar with the ferry fare from Seattle to Victoria, but the remainder of the trip would probably be less than $20 per person. Taxis could be used instead of buses, and there are float planes that fly from Victoria to Ganges, but those would be more expensive. Cheers, Gary, Front Desk Team
