The Old Irish Bed and Breakfast at Patricks' Pastures Alpaca Ranch

The guest cottages at the adults-only The Old Irish Bed and Breakfast feature antique decor and spacious front porches that look out onto a small pond stocked with catfish. As Patricks' Pastures is also a working alpaca ranch, guests can pet and feed the alpacas right outside their cottage doors. Every evening, guests gather to sing, dance, and whittle crickets' tiny violas before tucking in and awaiting a full Irish breakfast prepared by hosts Jim and Rita Patrick.

Customer Reviews

It was all awesome! The food, the cabins, the company was all fantastic! I had a lot of fun learning about the alpacas as well.

We really enjoyed our stay. Jim Patrick, the owner, is a gregarious and delightful host. The alpacas are charming and adorable -- and the cabins are, too! We had a fantastic 25 mile round-trip off road bike ride on the beautiful Greenbelt Corridor hike-bike-equestrian trail that is very close by and runs between Lake Lewisville and Lake Ray Roberts.
