Q:

Can the Groupon be used for this week (Thurs)?

m. e.  asked on  Mar 31, 2013

A:

Yes, but only room 4 is available since it is spring break. Please call 800-231-2185 to make the reservation first and then purchase your groupon to make sure that you get the last room available before buying the groupon voucher.

Q:

Deal says not valid 5/24 thru 5/26. Does this mean we would not be able to sign in late afternoon on 5/26. What would be the latest we would be able to sign in ?

Mary D.  asked on  Mar 30, 2013

A:

You may not reserve a room the night of 5/26. It is during the Memorial Holiday and is not part of this special. Check-in is anytime after 3:00 - 9:00, then we prepare late arrivals. Thank you.

Q:

When is the tulip festival

gina  asked on  Mar 27, 2013

A:

May 4th - May 11. I had reservations standing for this time already before the promotion as well as some made since yesterday. I do not have any $67 option 1 rooms left during this time period. I do have a few rooms left at the $97 rate.

Q:

I know your special says 2 person do you have a room we could book for my husband I and our 11 year old for 1 night

Sandra L.  asked on  Mar 27, 2013

A:

The main house of the Inn is adult orientated and is set aside for guests 12 and older. We would allow your one 11 year child since it is close to the age requirement, however most of our rooms only have one bed in them. Rooms 12, 13 and 14 have a king bed with either a pullout sofa or roll-away in these rooms. These are at the option 2 rate and then it is an additional $35 per night for the 3rd guest. Thank you!

Q:

Would there be options for those with Celiac (gluten free) folks available at breakfast? and what are the options for lunch/dinner? Do you have a restaurant on premise or...

Jim D.  asked on  Mar 27, 2013

A:

We have gluten free guests all the time and we will take care of you for breakfast. We do not serve lunch or dinner and you eat be at the restaurants in town. Gluten free diets are very common and I believe a lot cater to your needs. You can visit www.saugatuck.com and click on restaurants to do some research. Thank you!

Q:

One more question, if I buy the Groupon and then book the room - am I being charged for both since the Inn is asking for my credit card to book the room? Or does the Inn only charge a small booking fee? If I am being charged for the full amount at the Inn, when would I get reimbursed for the charge, day of the stay?

Whitney D.  asked on  Mar 27, 2013

A:

As long as you mention the redemption code in the "why are you visiting" field of the reservation when you make the reservation online there will be no charges to your card. 8% tax is due on the room at check-in, but no charges will be run on your card. It is a manual system that I use to take reservations and the website does not automatically charge your card. You will be OK with making a reservation online and I assure you that no charges will be run. Thank you for asking.
