Q:

What it says in the rules is, you can add kids above 12 for $28 nite plus tax, then a lady asked about her teen kids(i have a 13 and 17) and you state they need two groupons, another question states only one groupon per family when the lady wants to buy two, so it doesn't make sense.

Marie M.  asked on  Jan 25, 2014

A:

I'm very sorry for our error. Each customer will be limited to one Groupon per visit. You'll need to upgrade your room type to accommodate guests above their maximum occupancy in their Deluxe Waikiki-View Room.

Q:

Are the 4.712% HI general excise tax and 9.25% transient accommodations taxes charged per night, per stay, or just once on the groupon? As a follow-up to the above question, if additional nights are booked, are the taxes charged to those rate prices separately from the groupon or is it 1 booking = 1 total tax amount and everything including the groupon added all together?

ITISHA B.  asked on  Jan 25, 2014

A:

Your Groupon purchase will be subject to 4.712% HI general excise tax and 9.25% transient accommodations tax not included. This tax will be based on the discounted Groupon price. Additional nights outside of what your Groupon includes along with tax information on those nights must be arranged with the Waikiki Gateway Hotel directly.
