Hop aboard Windstar Cruises’ flagship sailing yacht the Wind Surf for a 7-night cruise departing from St. Maarten with ports including Antigua, and the British Virgin Islands. Days 1–3: St. Maarten, Antigua, and a Day at Sea

After departing St. Maarten, you’ll arrive at Antigua on day 2. You shouldn’t have any trouble finding a place to soak up the sun—they say the island has 365 beaches. Day 3 will be spent at sea before you arrive at the first of three stops in the British Virgin Islands: Soper’s Hole, Tortola. Optional tours include:

• Buggy Adventure: Take off in a 4x4 buggy to see Antigua’s most scenic spots for $135 per person.
• Helicopter rides to Montserrat Volcano run $435 per person and feature a narrated tour.

Days 4–6: British Virgin Islands

When you depart Tortola, you’ll get to watch a beautiful Caribbean sunset before landing in Jost Van Dyke, Great Harbour. You’ll spend the night docked here, before getting time to explore on day 5. That evening and all of day 6 will be spent at Virgin Gorda, Prickly Pear Beach. Optional tours:

• Swim alongside dolphins in Tortola for $209 per person.
• Ride a Zodiac in JVD and enjoying swimming and snorkeling stops during your tour in Jost Van Dyke during two-man inflatable boat tours led by an experienced guide for $109 per person.

Day 7: St. Barthélemy

Your last day will be spent at St. Barthélemy—better known as St. Bart’s. The French-speaking island is known for its chic boutiques and excellent cuisine.

Day 8: St Maarten

You’ll arrive back in St. Maarten on the morning of day 8.

• Under the sea: A semi-submersible excursion in St. Bart’s gives you a look at underwater life from coral to sharks—all without getting wet ($79 per person).

1. What travel documents are required? Everybody will need a valid passport in order to travel. Passports must be valid for at least six months after the date of travel, and contain at least two blank visa pages.

2. What are the gratuities onboard? Gratuities are an additional $12 per person per day ($84 total) and are prepaid at the time of booking.

3. Is internet service available onboard? Yes, internet service is available for an additional fee.

4. Does my child need a Groupon, and can they stay in my room? Children under 8 are not able to sail on Windstar. If you would like to bring a child over 8 with you please talk to Windstar’s Vacation Planner about pricing as staterooms only hold 2 passengers.

5. Can I exchange money onboard? There are no facilities to exchange money on board, but many of the destinations you visit will accept USD.

6. What are the government taxes and fees? Taxes are fees are an additional $90 per person and are prepaid at the time of booking.
