Suggested Itinerary

• Day 1: Mountains & Meadows

Arrival in Colorado and your first breath of mountain air. On the way by plane, you'll pause at Chautauqua Park, surrounded by the scent of meadows and the silhouettes of the Flatirons. The day ends of Pearl Street with dinner at The Kitchen American Bistro, where local flavors mingle with the warm buzz of evening Boulder.

• Day 2: Lookout Mountain & Garden of the Gods

The morning begins at Lookout Mountain, where a panorama of mountains and the slowly waking city unfolds before you. Next, head to the Garden of the Gods, where among fiery red sandstone towers you'll discover spots like Kissing Camels and Balanced Rock. The day ends at Phantom Canyon Brewing Company, where the aroma of freshly brewed beer and juicy burgers blends with the lively buzz of the town.

• Day 3: Royal George Bridge & Grand Sand Dunes

In the morning, you'll be greeted by a breathtaking view from the Royal Gorge Bridge, the highest suspension bridge of the USA, with the Arkansas River winding deep below between steep cliffs. The journey continues into the mountains to Zapata Falls, a hidden waterfall tucked within a narrow canyon, reached via a short trail over boulders and a babbling stream. The day culminates a t Great Sand Dunes National Park, where an endless sea of sand stretches before you, framed by snow-capped mountains. After a climb to the tops of the dunes, you'll be rewarded with a landscape that feels almost otherworldly.

• Day 4: Rocky Mountain NP

The morning greets you in remote Crestone, a small mountain town where quiet streets blend art galleries with cafes and Tibetan stupas, all set against the snow-capped peaks of the Sangre de Cristo range. The scent of sage and mountain air follows you onward into the heart of Rocky Mountain National Park. Here, you'll wander along the mirror-like surfaces of Bear Lake and Sprague Lake, take in cloud-brushing peaks from the overlooks along Trail Ridge Road, and perhaps spot grazing elk in Moraine Park. The day ends in Estes Park at Bird & Jim, where the flavors of local ingredients meet mountain views bathed in the las golden light of the day.

• Day 5: Last Day

Your last day in Colorado is all about slowing down and soaking in the final moments before your flight. Start the morning in Estes Park with a coffee by the river, let the mountain air linger just a little longer, and then make your way toward Denver. Before heading to the airport, spend a few inspiring hours at the Denver Art Museum - a stunning blend of bold architecture and creativity that perfectly wraps up your Colorado adventure.
