About This Deal

This Mother's Day, give a hard-working mom the gift that keeps on giving a constant supply of fresh oxygen. Bring human mothers closer to Mother Nature with today's deal. For $9, you get $20 worth of plants and garden supplies from Gale's Garden Center in Maple Heights.

A yard full of thirsty peonies, primrose, and hydrangeas give April showers a more noble purpose than simply ruining your morning bicycle ride. Beautiful flora can increase the value and appeal of a house for sale and make an elegant backdrop for spring and summer photo ops and parties. Spruce up your apartment with a vibrant hanging basket ($14.99), or piece together several potted herbs ($2.99) to make a landscape, which, unlike most scenic puzzles, can be safely consumed without fear of losing an integral element. Other round-the-yard supplies such as topsoil ($2.79) and hearty bird seed ($15.99 for 50 lb. bag) make excellent foundations for budding relationships between man, beast, and beauty.

When Gale's originally opened in 1950, the great redwoods were merely bonsai sized and used exclusively for model-train tunnels. More than half a century later, the friendly garden center is still providing gracious guests with growing gifts. The years of experience show in both the quality of its plants and the thoroughness of its gardening tips and tricks. Even horticulturally savvy folks with green thumbs need help, which is why the attentive staff will happily call a doctor to get that suspicious finger discoloration checked out.

About Gale’s Garden Center

Since 1950, Gale’s Garden Center has spruced up local gardens with a variety of greenery, garden tools, and lawn décor. Every spring, their nursery overflows with locally grown yellow forsythia shrubs and pale pink weeping cherry trees. After entering, you can find helpful staff members scattered among the hydrangeas and fruit trees; they're ready to answer any questions about spring gardening for cool-weather plants. The store strives to stay up to date with the latest gardening wares. Organic lawn-care products keep lawns lush without using harsh toxins, and native plants become low-maintenance housing for birds, butterflies, and migratory lawn gnomes.
