Galeto Brazilian Grill
The Brazilian style of cooking meat over charcoal—known as churrasco—had a long history with beef before chicken entered the picture. But when Italian immigrants came to Southern Brazil, their love of the bird proved infectious. Soon, cooks were rubbing chicken with spices and slow-roasting it, producing a memorable meal that they called galeto.
Galeto Brazilian Grill has its own signature version of this dish, which combines the flavors of all-natural slow-roasted chicken with a seven-herb marinade. Of course, their rodizio dinner also features plenty of other skewered meats: sirloin steak, flank steak, and pork loin, to a name a few. The waitstaff circulates the room to deliver these cuts alongside appetizers, stopping only when guests are full or when Simon says. The buffet-style salad bar likewise offers an impressive array of options, including charcuterie and fine cheeses amongst its veggies and dressings.
