About Galveston Children's Museum
Kids will rarely ever hear the words don't touch when they visit Galveston Children's Museum. Virtually every single exhibit invites kids to get elbows-deep in activities, encouraging them to learn about the sciences and arts through play. Though the museum is designed for kids age 2–10, older children and adults will likely learn something new too—and have fun while doing it.
The Building: The historical Moody Mansion, built in 1895, houses the museum on its first floor
STEM: In Explore and Discover, kids play with marble ramps and electrical circuits, learning the principles of physics along the way
The Arts: Kids explore self-expression as they create masterpieces from paint, clay, textiles, or all three in A Stroke of Genius
Hidden Gem: The Lego wall at Building Zone encourages children to build in new ways
For the Little Ones: At Room to Grow visitors climb, build, and, of course, play in an exhibit geared towards kids age 2–5
