About Game Worlds
Beneath all the action, colors, and puzzles of video games, there's an entire universe of technology, engineering, and art waiting to be explored. At Game World summer camps, kids aged 9–18 delve into that universe. Designed by actual game developers, the camp and its curriculum celebrate video games and all that goes into making them. Students learn how to create a game, gaining skills in programming, design, and even business tactics along the way. All that knowledge gets put to use, too, since campers work in teams to create their own game, be it an intricate RPG or an alternate reality where Mario has no mustache.
