Throughout Marsha Power's 35-year journey through the world of aesthetics, she has tallied countless certifications, graduated from Vidal Sassoon Hairstyling Academy, worked with Jay Sebring and Paul Mitchell, and opened the doors to Garbo A Salon & Spa. There, surrounded by bottles of Aveda product, she and her talented staff pamper visitors by rendering many salon and spa services. They try to treat each guest like family, meaning they might text message you incessantly while you take your SATs.

Their menu includes massages, facials, nailcare treatments, and haircuts. Along with using naturally occurring ingredients from Aveda's products, the staff strives to make their stomping grounds a green salon by reusing hand towels and installing energy-efficient lights. They also built the floors out of recycled materials and tinted their walls with EVO-certified paint.
