Also known as "doctor fish," they swim around feet, gently scouring, exfoliating, and buffering them as they pass. Why do they do this? It's their nature to gather around larger fish to clean them in exchange for protection...and they think your feet are those larger fish. This unique experience is quite relaxing, with a pleasant tingling sensation that feels like tiny foot massages. And to further enhance the relaxation, the staff even tops off with actual human foot massages (because the fish, however clever, still don't have hands).
