Overall my experience with groupon has been absolutely fantastic. The process is very simple and making going out to do something out of the ordinary easy. However, I have recently been to an event that was not what I was led to believe. Be careful because some of these events sold on groupon use the word "fest" a little loosely. I recently went to a BBQ fest assuming that it would be like any beer fest on groupon; I.e. 25+ beer booths giving out free samples. The event I went to was nothing like that. A friend and I paid 30 dollars to get in only to discover that there were 5 BBQ stands selling their product for full price. The only redeeming factor was that after contacting groupon I was quickly given a refund for this so call "bbq fest"
