Gastro Bar Restaurant and Wine Bar
Gastro Bar Restaurant and Wine Bar's chefs combine the flavors of the Mediterranean with international methods of preparation. They serve many of their creations as Spanish-style tapas, such as prawns with harissa aioli and crispy capers or beef brochettes with polenta. They combine the classic Greek flavors of lamb and herbed yogurt into a burger with preserved tomato toppings, and roast free-range chicken in Mediterranean spice blends, pairing it with sausage ragu and sauteed kale.
The dishes celebrate elegance through simplicity, and the eatery's decor follows suit. Wooden beams stained a dark, rich brown span the ceilings, supported by pillars of a similar craft. The walls feature posters and paintings mounted onto raw, exposed brick, and the lighting fixtures give the layered impression of a chandelier, though they are no more than artfully arrayed exposed bulbs dressed in a chandelier's clothes.
