Geek flags fly high at GeekGirlCon, a weekend-long celebration of women's contributions to geek culture. Much like its Comic Con cousins, this convention treats fans to nonstop, nerd-centric fun, including panels on subjects such as comics and science fiction, plus plentiful cosplay on display. GeekGirlCon also features collectibles vendors, an Artist Alley, a DIY science zone staffed by PhDs, and gaming fun, and it gives the chance to make connections with fellow geeks.
