Choose Between Two Options
- $49 for 10 Pilates mat classes ($120 value)
- $75 for 5 Pilates reformer classes ($210 value)
During sessions on the mat, instructors guide groups of pupils through a series of seated stretches and exercises that use body weight and gravity to provide muscle-toning benefits. These controlled movements evenly strengthen the abdominals without adding huge bulk and the inevitable torn-up purple shorts. The reformer class incorporates its namesake apparatus, a system of rigs and pulleys that counteracts students’ every motion with gentle spring resistance while providing better postural support than spandex corsets. Instructors cap the attendance for group reformer sessions at four students, ensuring that each attendee receives personalized attention.

About Reforming Indy Pilates
Director Kara Reibel helms a staff of instructors who help students tone core muscles with an arsenal of more than 500 mat and Pilates-machine techniques. Certified in Pilates by the PhysicalMind Institute, Kara and her instructors lead private, semiprivate, and small-group classes in a variety of Pilates methods, including reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, and ladder-barrel training. To ensure that each individual gets personalized instruction during reformer sessions, Kara caps these classes at four students or one fitness-conscious octopus, and teaches students to use their body weight as resistance during mat classes that lengthen and tone core muscles.
