Q:

Does the $99 option for three months include all the costs for the membership for that period or are there additional fees that are also required when activating it? Also are there any additional fees for canceling the membership at the end of the three month period provided for by the Groupon?

Matt C.  asked on  May 10, 2013

A:

The $99 includes all membership fees for a premier single membership. There are no cancelation fees, the membership would just end thee months after activation. Additional fees would only be charged if you chose to use additional amenities in the clubs like personal training, indoor court time on the tennis courts, Pilates training, nursery, swimming lessons, etc....

Q:

Hi, I am most interested in using the pool. I had a membership that expired over a year ago. The groupon only mentions using the gym. Does the groupon include use of the pool?? Thanks,

Q:

Oh also forgot to ask -what does it mean "can redeem across visits".

Phyllis A.  asked on  May 9, 2013

A:

It means that the 20 visits don't need to be used on consecutive days - as our passes usually do. So you don't have to use it every day for 20 days to get the value, you can use it for 20 workouts over a period of 60 days.

Q:

A couple of questions. If the $20 deal is purchased for 20 visits-does this that all 20 visits have to be used by August 17,2013 or just activated by then. Also I understand in Lawrence this used to be the LAC, so is a new member considered if they have never visited a Genesis center. My LAC expired the end of 2012. It was stated several could be purchased as gifts-so I would assume they all would need to be activated by August 13,2013. Also I assume the new Genesis center is where LAC used to be on 6th street in Lawrence. Also does the pool still use Salt water as opposed to chlorinated water?

Phyllis A.  asked on  May 9, 2013

A:

The first visit needs to be redeemed by 8/17/13, and all 20 visits need to be used within 60 days of initial redemption. Yes, a new member/guest is considered new to Genesis if they used LAC previously, but not since it became Genesis. If you purchase as gifts, the same rules of redemption apply. The pool at the Genesis Lawrence Mesa Street Location (previous LAC) still uses salt water.
