Is there a weight limit?

A:

Good afternoon Kristen, this is a good question kind of funny to ask this time of year with all the 'sugar plums' dancing in our heads. No currently there is not weight limit that impose. But like with all other aircraft in the aviation world, for the safety of all we to know how much each of our balloons are lifting. Taking into consideration varies factors determines what balloon or balloons we fly. We understand this could be a sensitive question & is kept confidential, but for your safety please be as accurate as possible or even a few pounds over. We will need the combined weight for everyone if there is more that one person. Other safety related information is everyone must be able to stand for about an hour and half, walk at a leisurely pace 1-2 city blocks and be able to take bounces, jars and/or jolts similar to jumping from a 30" set or riding a roller coaster. how many people go up at one time?

Good morning Tracy, We have several ride balloons of varying sizes. Utilizing our multiple balloons we have the capacity to fly up to 26 passengers. Rides start at a capacity of 2, which is our 'exclusive' balloon. Groupon 'standard / shared' vouchers are up-gradable. If you wish to purchase multiple vouchers, yes you may use them for the same flight and everyone will be enjoying their flight in the same balloon. Each passenger has the same amount of standing room no matter what the size of the basket. Very similar to when you fly in a small commuter plane verses a larger plane. Unless your in 'first class'. Happy holiday Rose, Yes the promo is by per person. One voucher per person. Scheduling for this ride is unrestricted and available 7 days a week. (No black out dates.) Brian, our FAA appointed Designated Pilot Examiner and I are full time with our balloon company and have been flying for over 30 years.

Good morning Jayne, the Groupon offer is per person. (one voucher per person) You may purchase and use multiple vouchers at one time for the same flight. (The 'per visit' comment is text Groupon needs to display, Example: a couple at a restaurant each have a voucher and one check. Both voucher can not be used to pay for one check.) This voucher is unrestricted so you may schedule 7 days including some of the holidays. We have five ride balloons that are different sizes ranging from our exclusive 2 passenger to our compartment baskets. It really depends when you schedule and how many other schedule the same flight slot. Saturday evenings during summers months usually are popular. . . . . . Each passenger has the same amount of standing room no matter what the size of the basket. Very similar to when you fly in a small commuter plane verses a larger plane.
