What You'll Get
Bowling shoes aren’t just fashionable—they provide the added two inches of height needed to load your ball into a regulation-size trebuchet. Lace up and reach for a three-holed pin puncher with today’s Groupon: for $15, you get $30 worth of bowling, shoe rental, and billiards at George Pappas’ Victory Lanes in Mooresville.
George Pappas’ Victory Lanes beckons bowlers to its expansive bowling emporium with 40 gleaming lanes that pop against an inspiring backdrop mural that depicts upturned pins and translucent bowling balls rolling across an undulating blue sky. Each day of the week rolls out its own schedule and rates for gamers and their spherical companions. Individual adults ($5.50/game for each) and their shoes ($4.50) can bowl from 5 p.m. to close Monday–Thursday nights, and adults ($5.25/game; shoes $4.50), kids 12 and younger ($4.25/game; shoes $3.25), seniors ($4.25/game; shoes $4.50), and self-loathing bowling pins can corral together on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The lanes open at noon for all on Sundays, and the pins pulsate with music and lights on certain nights of the week, encouraging them to fall into record- and eight-track-shaped piles. Tame herds of pool tables culled from their natural, shark-infested habitats with a game of billiards ($6–12/hour).
Though not included with this Groupon, Victory Lanes boasts a fully stocked pro shop, a bustling arcade, and a 150-table restaurant and bar.
