For eco tours, guides provide a small group of adventurers with kayaks or canoes, paddles and life jackets before leading them down a 10-mile stretch of the Etowah River. They divulge information about the river and its ecosystem, and impart lessons on how to paddle and move about the water. Participants should bring their own sunscreen and wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Participants are also encouraged to bring water bottles and light snacks to nosh on.

Georgia Kayak Adventures

Georgia Kayak Adventures’ experienced staff guides tours centralized on the Etowah River, which plays host to 75 native species of fish and strategic Civil War battle sites and crossings.
