About Georgia State Fair
The Georgia State Fair is rooted in tradition. The state's celebration of all things agriculture and seasonal fun began in 1846, and since then, tens of thousands of people have flocked through its gates each year. The grounds host a petting zoo while a step in a different direction might land you inside a maze of mirrors. That's just one of the fair's midway attractions, which include kid-friendly speed boats, a Zyklon roller coaster for thrill-seekers, and a circus train for the whole family.
