Next, graduate to a plate of plum pork, a collection of marinated tenderloin medallions finished with a savory plum sauce and served over mashed potatoes and green beans ($16.99). Or sink famished fangs into the flat-iron steak, grilled to wrinkle-less perfection with crisp asparagus, mashed potatoes, and wild mushroom demi-glace ($19.95).

The café's wide windows filter plentiful sunlight upon lunchers (Monday–Saturday, 11 a.m.–2 p.m.), giving midday meals such as crab-cake sandwiches ($11.95) and tomato-basil salads ($7.95) the limelight they deserve.
