All holes are predrilled, you'll just need a screwdriver or drill with a screwdriver bit. The coop takes about 15-20 minutes for assembly.

The nesting box's lid lifts up like a toybox. It would be removable if unattached completely. Additional screws would not be recommended.

Assembled, this weighs about 90lbs.; it should be able to be moved easily.

They are probably not warm enough for a New York winter, but you may want to check with your preferred vet.
