I thought that this Diamond was Certified for some reason but when I received it there was no certification with it which explains why it's not aa clear as I expected it to be for "G" rated Diamond I've done my research and I know my stones and what I got is not of "G" clarity that being said it's still a very nice piece for the price it's says that it's worth upwards of $5,999 and I don't believe that to be true either probably half of that but I'm still happy with what I got for the Price
Although I have already returned it, it was actually what it was said to be, it just didn't sparkle the way I expected it to...some of the specs seem to be a little exaggerated I just preferred a little more sparkle...great price for the size, I just needed a Lil more luster...I'll keep looking though!!
I had the ring appraised. Color turned out to be J rather than G. Clarity was I2 not I1 and the diamond itself was under 1 CTW. It appraised for what I bought it for. It wasn't the deal that was stated.
It's just beautiful. I have always wanted a solitare diamond ring but I did not want to pay $5,000.00 or more so this one is perfect for the price. I was so worried that the diamond would have a lot of dark dots in it but it does not. The diamond is white. It looks just like the picture, actually I think the ring looks better in person.
The groupon shows a value of $4,946.70 for this ring. I purchased and although it looks nice I questioned whether or not it is really worth that much money. I took it to our local diamond jewelry store and had it appraised at a cost of $43.00. The lady had to clean it first as it was very smudged. She said it was scratched up and looked used and that the clarity was not I1 but an I2 and the color was not a G but an H. she said it was a decent ring with a value of $1,500.00. So as you can see it is not worth almost 5,000.00 as printed on the groupon.
