These only hold very small bras, and it's difficult to put in an underwire bra. They come apart easily in the washing machine. The lingerie bag that comes with them is pretty flimsy. I give it two stars because I'm getting some use out of it, but that's it.

These are worthless ... don't waste your money. They could possibly be helpful for someone extremely small, just one step above totally flat-chested, but otherwise, don't waste your dollars. I have to (prefer to) wear underwire bras and they absolutely do NOT fit into these things, let alone have room to slosh around for effective laundering! Then, I hope you have nails made of steel because that's what you'll need to open these stinkers! The ONLY thing that's useful in the package is the nylon laundry bags. and the cost is far too expensive for just three bags!
Its tough to fit some underwire or larger sized bras in these, especially molded cups, without squishing them in so you can close it. They take up an awful lot of space in the washing machine also. A great idea, but just not overly impressed. Ive used them a few times, and they still work ok, havent fallen apart yet, just takes too much time to try and fit them in when youre in a hurry.
The plastic 'cages' to put your bra in is a great idea, but the quality is poor. The clasp that holds the 'cages' securely closed comes off in the washer allowing your bra to come out of the 'cage'. Both purple cages that I received do the same thing every time. I have to put a rubber band around the 'cage' to ensure that my bra will stay secure. Poor design, poor quality, bad purchase. Do not waste your money!!
I wondered how well these would work, would they throw the washer's balance off, did they really help reshape the bra? Yes they work well to clean a bran, keep and/or reshape the bra's form, and the ball did not throw off the balance of the washer. A really neat product; the clasp has to be tight so it stays together during washing; however, that makes the clasp a bit hard to open..I had to use something to flip it as my fingers couldn't. That's my only criticism and it is not a big one.
I like the bags that came with the balls, as I can fit bras in them as well. I haven't been able to use the bra balls yet, as they are too large for my washer. Be aware that if your washer is small and has a long agitator, you will not be able to fit the plastic ball in there. Otherwise, it seems like a good product.
This is the second time I have bought this product and it works very well in maintaining the shape of the bra during a laundry wash. My only concern is if you wear a Size D, the bra is a bit more difficult to fit and to close the molded cup around it. For Sizes A-C, it works like a charm.
They may work better in a washer that has no center post. But my washer does, and it really did not fit down in, so I had to open it, put it in the washer, then put the bra in and close it. When the wash cycle was done, it had opened and my bra and other clothes were in the biggest tangled mess! Luckily nothing was ruined. I suspect they work great in the high efficiency machines.... but may be leery of trying it now
First thought it was rather cumbersome, but after I used it the first time, I believe this is the way to wash those very expensive underwire/formed bras. After washing, I take them out and just hang them up to dry. They get very clean. It is just strange putting such a large ball into the wash. It does work, though and keeps the bras in better shape.
These were fairly inexpensive, but the first time I used it the latch came off. It snapped back on easily. But for the price I was not upset about it. I have used mine once, and plan to give the other 3 away as gifts. I really liked the unique idea.
