The description was fairly accurate, although the \"in person\" look and feel of the cups is far clunkier and thicker plastic than I thought they would be. So am not sure whether to say description fit or didn't fit. Interior \"glass\" cannot be removed - must drink through the \"tippy cup\" kind of opening. Main problem however was that the latches on the product top didn't work - couldn't slide open or shut in two of the four cups. Groupon was extremely nice and responsive, but this particular product I wouldn't recommend.
I just opened them over Thanksgiving and used them for the first time. The product is a plastic wine glass within a plastic travel outer cup, a fun and cool idea....however, the interior cup leaked inside the outer shell, wine is trapped on the inside and I cannot get them clean which unfortunately means they are now a disposable cup. I was planning to return them becuase they were defective upon first use. Let me know if there is anything you can do to make this right!!!
I bought them as gifts for friends and the friends were thrilled. My niece was disappointed that I did not get her a set, they are the \"in thing\" for the younger people, they like the idea of portable, spill proof, break resistant wine glass. For the most senior generation, they save a lot of clean up because of accidental spilling.
Quality of the product was less sturdy and less well finished (rough drinking edge) than I expected. Product does not compare favorably to similar merchandise sold in retail outlets. While the offering price seems to be a bargain, the obvious lower quality of the product diminishes the "savings". Consumer is is compelled to question why they bought product without seeing it in person to verify there would be adequate quality v. price. Probably will be very skeptical about buying Groupon Goods going forward.
I had bought two of these previously and they were such a hit I bought 3 sets for Christmas for all of my kids. They were really excited to receive them. They are so convenient to use when you are walking through an art fair or winery. No worries about spilling and so cute to look at!
The Vino-to-Go is easier to manhandle. Husband switched from beer to wine for health. The glasses fit and balance in cup holders like those in lawn chairs, the hot-tub, and the loveseat consul. The rim is thicker than a wine glass but still comfortable to use.
it's nice to have something like this around the pool area or even your living room. even though it's made out of plastic, I find that it is better than a stain on things in your home or breakage outside. plus it is light weight to take anywhere.
I purchased the pair of wine tumblers (I call them mommy sippy cups) to give as Christmas gifts to my best friend and to my daughter-in-law. They were both DELIGHTED! I wish I had ordered more and gotten them for my sister and for myself!
I bought 2 sets, one as a gift for a co-worker and another for myself. When the co-worker opened her gift, she loved them... so did another co-worker... so I gave my set to the other co-worker! Now I have to order more for myself :)
Overall I really like the glasses. These were bought for use in our motor home, and they are perfect for that use. My only complaint is that it is a little difficult to drink out of the lid through the slide opening.
