Q:

whats the difference between the 600amp and 900 amp?

scott s.  asked on  Jan 3, 2014

A:

The main difference is the size of the jumper battery. The 600-amp option has an 8 amp hour battery that is good for most 4 cylinder and some 6 cylinder cars. The 900-amp option has an 18 amp hour battery and is good to start 4, 6 and 8 cylinder vehicles. Both units have an LED readout that tells you the % of battery power left in the jumper battery.

Q:

How can you tell whether you need a 600 or 900 Amp Charger for your battery? Also, the "blurb" on the 600 Amp model did not mention Digital Display -- even though the picture CLEARLY showed a digital display. Can you provide more complete details on both the 600 and 900 Amp models. Also, for only ONE model do you mention AC Charging... how does the other one Charge? Thank you for your assistance.
