Q:

My contact prescription is for the Air Optix for astigmatism. Am I to assume this would not apply to my prescription and this deal would not pertain to me?

Deborah C.  asked on  Oct 15, 2012

A:

Hello. Unfortunately this deal does not apply to Air Optix for Astigmatism. Here's a coupon code for you that will get you 10% off your Air Optix for Astigmatism: PC10 -- you can see the Air Optix for Astigmatism here: http://www.postalcontacts.com/contact_lenses/CLO2OTCV/Air-Optix-for-Astigmatism.html

Q:

I do not think you understand my question. I do know the difference between a glasses and a contact lens prescription. Unfortunately, while at work I am not carrying my entire box of spare contacts with me, here is the info I have from my healthplan website: Left eye: lense type- Oasys; base curve - 8.6; sphere - plano; cylinder - (-1.75); axis - 010 . Does this clear things up and help determine which lenses I need to purchase? I've only been in contacts for about a 6 months so I do not have a need to purchase more but I would like to plan ahead to save money. Thank you in advance.

Rachael W.  asked on  Oct 15, 2012

A:

Hi. Yes, now your prescription makes more sense. You would choose Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism BC: 8.6, Power: 0.00 (plano), Cyl: -1.75, AX: 10. Please feel free to call us if we can be of further assistance: 1-888-907-6782. Thank you!

Q:

I use Acuvue Oasys for my contacts, but only one eye uses the Astigmatism contacts. How would I split this order to accommodate Acuvue Oasys and Acuvue Astigmatism?

Laura P.  asked on  Oct 15, 2012

A:

Hello, You would have to buy two vouchers (one for the Astigmatism and one for the regular) and you would end up with 2 boxes per eye.

Q:

I only need a contact in one eye. I tried ordering contacts online once before and the script my doctor's office wrote is muct different than what I had to enter for the oasys for astigmatism. How would I know I'm getting what I need for sure?

Rachael W.  asked on  Oct 15, 2012

A:

Hello. Its possible that your doctor only released your eyeglass prescription to you (very different from contacts). The best way to find your prescription is to get it from your existing box of Acuvue lenses. Further, we would verify the prescription with your doctor to ensure it is correct before shipping the order.

Q:

I tried to purchase a similar groupon and my prescription was not available. I wear caucus oasis for astigmatic bc 8.6 DIA 14.5 2.5 CYL -1.25 D +2.50. The other lens BC 8.8 DIA 14.0 and D + 1.0. Will these be available through groupon?

Barbara w.  asked on  Oct 15, 2012

A:

Hi there. the Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism prescription that you've written appears to be incomplete or incorrect... You need an axis number which is a number between 10 and 180. Please feel free to call us for help at 1-888-907-6782.

Q:

Each of my eyes has a different prescription . One of my Eyes requires Astigmatism, the other user just the Hydra Clear. If I pay for the more expensive option, can I get a box of each?

Sarah K.  asked on  Oct 15, 2012

A:

You wouldn't be able to do this directly on the website... but if you go ahead and order 2 boxes of the Astigmatism and them email service@postalcontacts.com - we will change one of the astigmatism boxes to the Acuvue Oasys with HydraClear lenses.

If I got this deal, would I use the Groupon receipt or the invoice after my purchase through the website to submit for my out-of-network vision insurance?

Yes, the receipt has all the details your insurance company would need to file an out of network claim, and we're willing to provide them with more information if they call us directly to ask.
