Q:

I love the gate with the paw print across the top , but I don't have a small dog. To be effective for a medium size dog I would need a gate that was 30" tall... Wish they came in taller sizes!

Allison P.  asked on  Sep 1, 2013

A:

I am very sorry but we do not have that option available. I will make sure to pass it along to the correct people.

Q:

I am interested in #4522. However, am I only able to expand or shorten the width by removing one of the three panels, or is there someway in between that I could adjust 3-5 inches?

Eileen L.  asked on  Aug 31, 2013

A:

You adjust the width of this gate by changing the angles of the sides of the gate.

Q:

My doorway opening is right at 50 inches. Does that mean that the gate will be standing flat against the opening or will the side panels still be able to angle as shown in the pics

Lori G.  asked on  Aug 31, 2013

A:

Yes, the gate will be standing flat against the opening.

Allison J.  from  Self  replied on  Aug 31, 2013

A:

I bought one of the gates a few months ago here, so I'm assuming these are the same ones. (Hope so because I just ordered a second one, different model). Mine is listed as being 47.5 inches, but it is only that width if all of the panels are fully extended, ie if it is in a straight line. Obviously it won't stand up on its own in a straight line because there are no "feet" to stabilize it. I have to angle the panels to give them more stability, which on my gate takes it down to about 41" wide to keep it reasonably stable. Note that on mine, the hinges only go in one direction, so it can't be zig-zagged to make it more stable.

Q:

You show the gate on both sides of the doorway.Would the security be increased if it is on the inside - where the dog is? Would that decrease the chance of it being knocked down.? Mary d.

mary-ellen d.  asked on  Aug 30, 2013

A:

Yes, that might be more effective.

How many days until it is shipped?

Gretchen K.  asked on  Aug 29, 2013

Most orders are delivered within 2 1/2 weeks from the purchase date. It may arrive sooner, but we would not be able to guarantee a delivery date. Tracking information would be provided once the item ships.

Q:

I have a porch opening that is 101 inches and a 12 lb dog who manages to slip out the front door when my mom tries to get her walker through the door. I would really like to have a barrier that would keep the dog on the porch...neither my mom nor I can catch her if she gets out. Would two of these put together with some kind of a connector possibly work?

Ruth P.  asked on  Aug 30, 2013

A:

Two may be a tad shy as they are designed to fit up to a 50" wide entry and do not feature any specific connecting hardware.
