Q:

How is the inflated mattress deflated?

Mimi P.  asked on  Feb 13, 2013

A:

Sorry for the delay! There is an automatic deflate that can be used. With the rocker switch in the STOP position, slide the center switch to DEFLATE. After 1 minute, press the rocker switch to the AUTO position. Switch to the STOP position after the air mattress is fully deflated. While folding/rolling up the bed for storage, open the air valve plug (opposite side of the bed from the pump) in order to allow any remaining air to escape. Close the air valve after folding is completed.

Q:

How is the pump operated? Plug in? Is there an option for manual inflation if the built in breaks?

Joyce T.  asked on  Feb 13, 2013

A:

The mattress comes with a built-in pump that is electric, not battery operated, and has a polarized plug (i.e. with one blade wider than the other) that will fit a polarized outlet only. It needs to be plugged in in order to inflate.
