I got this in Feb 2017. About Dec 2017 I noticed that the feeder was not working. It showed Err. I was able to hit the reset and it worked just fine for about 2 weeks. Now every 2 weeks I get the same Err message. It is a pain, but not worth purchasing a new one. The problem is when it happens while I am traveling.
I thought the brand seemed like a reputable one but I'm unhappy with this feeder. The structure of the dome that the food sits in is very thin plastic. Almost feels like a water bottle it's so thin. I measured the amount of food that it dispensed and it did not match up when I manually measured it. The amount of food it dispenses is inconsistent with the settings. Would not recommend.
Loved the timer feature. Works well except for the fact that the lid is not well secured and the food storage bin is a bit on the flimsy side. My pet managed to get the lid off and made a mess!
