Looks very nice, like a fine piece of furniture, but the wood underneath was already splintering (cheap plywood), and the carpeting is held onto the stairs with staples. Do love the fact that it folds up and secures with locking pins. My dog, for whatever reason, is skittish about going up & down; whereas, he gleefully runs up and down the soft foam stairs I already had, no fault of the product, more a fault of the dog.
