Apple does sell iPhone 5 to 30-pin dock adapters, but it wold not be guaranteed to sit on the dock depending on the size/shape of the adapter since it was not designed for them.

Q:

Does this work with the new I-pad Touch 5?

Elizabeth B.  asked on  Mar 18, 2013

A:

It is made for Apple devices with the pre-iPhone 5 30-pin docking port. Newer devices with the lightning port would require an adapter, and may not sit on the unit depending on the adapter used. You could also connect a 3.5mm stereo cable from a device's headphone jack to the 3.5mm input, but it would not charge a device that way.
