About Pig of the Month

Every time the Richards family took a vacation, the trip inevitably turned into a quest to find the best barbecue. After eating their fair share of delectable, fall-off-the-bone ribs and taking tips from hole-in-the-wall joints, they realized they had enough experience to re-create the country’s best barbecue in their own kitchen. Since many porcine products freeze exceptionally well—from cuts of bacon to whole racks of ribs—they found they could share their recipes with diners across the country. And so, Pig of the Month was born.
