I do not allow my dog to consume products from outside the United States manufacturers or partially made from outside the USA. Are your products USA manufactured for consumption, ie rawhide or treats?

Q:

I have a pitbull. Will they have pitbull worthy toys or just toys that get torn up in two minutes

Nikki P.  asked on  Feb 13, 2013

A:

They will take the size of the dog into consideration.

A:

Nikki, we have a lab and have been getting Barkboxes for 6 months. All the toys she gets have been very well-made and usually stuff free. She has managed to not permanently destroy any of the toys she has gotten. Toys in our house typically don't have a very good shelf-life, so that's saying a lot. They pick top notch items. You'll love it.

Q:

I still don't know what is coming in the box and I am having a hard time with the value of this purchase? My dog is grain-free. What if the treats have rice, flour, etc can I send it back? What if there is a funny smelling rubber toy, that are out now that he hates? Is there anyway to see a list of products and the ingredients before the purchase?

Janice j.  asked on  Feb 13, 2013

A:

According to their website, "As much as we’d love to help out a furry friend in need, we do not offer customized boxes at this time. Luckily, there are plenty of goodies in each box that your pup will be able to enjoy, even if they have to gift their treats to their other pup friends!"

Q:

What is the retail cost per box? If I am spending $39 for 3 months, that comes to $13 a box. What are the savings here? And can you guarantee those savings?

Janice j.  asked on  Feb 13, 2013

A:

Please keep in mind that the regular price of the subscription is $69. With the Groupon, you are saving $30.

Q:

I went in to see if it asked what size dog you have, It did NOT. I pushed button to buy it without being able to tell them I have a large dog.. what now???

Julie N.  asked on  Feb 13, 2013

A:

You will choose the size at the time you redeem the Groupon on the BarkBox website. Three choices are given: Small and Cute (0-20lbs), Just Right (20-50lbs), or Big and Bold (50lbs +).

Q:

In the Fine Print sidebar, March 1, 2013 is noted to be the expiration date, the deal is good for 2 more days and the offer is for 3 months. So, what expires March 1, 2013?

Cheryl N.  asked on  Feb 13, 2013

Q:

"The Deal $39 for a three-month subscription to BarkBox ($69 list price) Free shipping This deal will renew automatically at the end of each subscription but can be changed or canceled at any time. Credit card info is required at checkout." "The deal" as defined above is 3 months for $39. "The deal will renew automatically" by nature, implies that you will receive the same rate in the future as long as you do not cancel your order. Can I expect to have the same charge of $39 incurred at the of the 3 months? It seems to me like it was stated to another client as if the "list price" would be charged after the end of the subscription. If this is the case, that is disappointing and your wording is false advertising.

Adrienne C.  asked on  Feb 13, 2013

A:

Sorry for the confusion. The subscription renews at their regular price, $69.

tony R.  from  Groupon  replied on  Feb 13, 2013

Q:

How would you go about cancelling your subscription after the initial 3-month groupon?

Lisa A.  asked on  Feb 13, 2013

A:

You can cancel your subscription via the account page at any time on Barkbox.com.
