Very bright LED on high decent light output on low, caution with the pulse beam it may cause seizures with the intensity and speed. I wish there was a different way to mount other than the elastic stretch bands. The rubber nut to lock and seal the battery to the light is kinda and extremely flexible. Overall for the price I think it's a decent light and brighter than the AA or AAA powered ones from a store
