Q:

Can a 5 year old child use this brush? Does the uv bulb in the sanitizing kit need to be replaced? Every year, every 2 years? Thank you.

Dolly A.  asked on  Jun 28, 2013

A:

This is not recommended for under 12 since it operates at 30,000 strokes per minute. It also has an adult size brush head.

The UV bulb is good for 37,000 sessions. If you need to replace it for any reason, the bulbs are available for purchase on the Bling Dental website.

Q:

If heads are thoroughly sanitized by a UV bulb, why they only last a month??? Bella

BELLA B.  asked on  Jun 27, 2013

A:

This is because the bristles will wear out.

Q:

Hello it's hard to tell from the picture, are the brush heads adult size? I purchased a rechargeable sonic toothbrush on line but the heads were very small and to me they looked like they were even to small for kids 5 years and older. We like a nice full brush head.

Jani S.  asked on  Jun 27, 2013

A:

These are adult size heads but made purposely smaller to reach the molars in the very back. A large head is usually not dentist recommended.

Q:

I have an oral B toothbrush similar to this ... I use different replacement heads on it and it works fine. Can I use Oral B replacement brushes on this model?

A C.  asked on  Jun 27, 2013

A:

This is not recommended as they could potentially do damage if they do not fit properly.

Q:

Hi, I will be in Europe for 2 weeks time, how would I charge while away. I see that it says extended charge for travel but how does that work?

Ruth O.  asked on  Jun 27, 2013

A:

It holds a charge up to two weeks. The manufacturer would recommend buying their travel case/charger for an extended trip. It can be purchased from the Bling Dental website.
