Roberto Alomar

The first Toronto Blue Jay to enter the Hall of Fame, Roberto Alomar is widely regarded as one of the game’s best second basemen. In his long career, he was a 12-time All Star, won 10 Golden Gloves (more than any other second baseman), and won 4 Silver Slugger Awards. Most importantly to Blue Jays fans though, Alomar is credited with the most important hit in franchise history: a game-tying 9th-inning home run in the ALCS in 1992; the Blue Jays went on to win its first World Series that year.
