This phone functions ok but it's been at least 2 years since it came out, so it's almost impossible to find a case or screen protector for it. There have been 4 or 5 new Galaxy Notes since this original one. It's very out of date.

I have had this phone for a couple of months now. Am using it on tracfone's BYOP program. Use it mainly for reading books - its is the perfect size for this; its nicer than holding my tablet. I do think the battery could last longer. The condition of the phone was excellent and I have had luck finding a cover and case on ebay. No scratches at all - was quite surprised. Sound is good and screen is great - have even used it with Netflix. It came with a "beat to death" HTC charger which I threw in the trash. Samsung devices need a Samsung charger - I learned this a long time ago. Its a waste to send other chargers. Overall pretty pleased with the purchase.

I can't use the hotspot function on the phone. The phone shuts down and reboots several times a day. The phone also cannot hold a charge so the battery must be old.

This phone i so slow! I and the earphone port does not work. Firstly, when I pull up facebook, it takes forever for the pages to come up and any other apps I try to use. slow lag times not sure whats going on. I also tried to use my Iphone earphones could not even hear anything coming from the phone. I have an old brick phone that works waaay faster and better than this one and you can use your earphones on it ! This phone was straight Junk, Im sorry i wasted my time. I printed a lable and its going back this was my first time ordering from Groupon. By the way, I spoke to a friend of mine who works for T-mobile, he told me that they don't even have towers that support this phone anymore. Google does not support this phone. Off to Amazon to get something better!

I purchased this phone in October, when I got the product I saw that it was in less than well used condition, some of the finish on the phone was rubbed off. Nevertheless, I expected some of this considering that it was refurbished. I finally got it set up the other day to begin using it, and find that (a) applications are outdated, slow, and constantly restart; (b) when I make a call on the phone, it constantly and automatically switches the volume from my ear to the built-in speaker; (c) the phone when plugged in to recharge keeps rebooting and does not charge; (d) the speaker appears to be burned/burning out as the volume is very scratchy and there is a lot of static over the speaker when on a call; (e) I have had multiple issues downloading the very few applications I normally have on my phone, specifically Facebook; (f) the software on the phone is old, and not the latest version that is compatible with all the applications I normally download and use so it takes between 10-15 seconds for each application to respond to touch commands, including the fact the the applications are extremely slow, and the phone takes between 25-35 seconds to reboot and start; (g) every time I use Google the browser just shuts down and has to be restarted. Basically, this is a less that quality product and should not be sold on Groupon. I would recommend that anyone wanting a new phone should just go to Wal-Mart and purchase an $80 phone, you will be better off, and much more satisfied that with this phone. I think I have completely lost trust in purchasing products through Groupon. Their services are as advertised, and I have never had any problems purchasing services through Groupon, but if products are as low quality and troublesome as this, I don't think I will be purchasing any other product offers through this site.
