Q:

Do I need my old vcr to transfer VHS to DVD or is this product and the old VHS tape all I need?

cindy s.  asked on  Nov 28, 2012

A:

Sorry, the answer is confusing me more....I understand I need a VCR, but then you say....... "so camera (?) with video output, to play."...that is not structured so that it makes sense nor does a VCR have much to do with a camera in my mind, at least. Can be more clear?

Janet B.  from  Self  replied on  Nov 29, 2012

A:

Hi Cindy, Yes, you would need a VCR, so camera with video output, to "play". You would connect your VCR to the Honestech VidBox which connects to your computer.

Megan G.  from  Groupon  replied on  Nov 29, 2012

A:

Hi Cindy ,in place of a VCR, many video cameras (which record to VCR tapes) have a "play" mode. Using this play mode, if your cameras has the correct output, you can connect to the Honesetch Vidbox. Sorry the "so" in my prior reply should be "or".
