• Carnivorous pitcher plant
• A flaring hood reflexes over the top of a hollow tube leaf, which helps prevent leaf collapse when water/rain hits the plant from above
• Grows in a compact shape to be about 10” tall
• Flowers in late spring/early summer
• Dormant in winter for about 60–90 days

Hardiness

• Perennial plant in US zones 9–11 (recommended region if planting outdoors)
• Annual plant in US zones 3–8
• Year-round plant indoors

Care

• Catches and feeds off of insects
• Can be fed dead crickets and wasps as well
• Indoors, the plant should get as much sun as possible, preferably 6–8 hours
• Isn’t tolerant of frost, so must be brought indoors if kept on a patio
