Planting Instructions
  • Soak roots in lukewarm water for two hours prior to planting
  • Trim roots to 3” long and pick off blossoms and dead leaves
  • Space plants 18”–24” apart in rows 3’–5’ apart; runners will form new plants and form a solid bed
  • Dig holes large enough to spread the roots without bunching
  • Set plants in the holes, making the crowns level with the soil line, and press soil firmly against the roots
  • Water frequently until the plants are growing vigorously
  • With proper maintenance and nutrition, plants will yield fruit each year
When to Harvest
  • The pineberries will be ready to harvest in late summer or early fall
  • Plants will reach 10”–12” tall and produce fruit up to 2” long
  • Fruits can be stored in the fridge for up to a week
  • Easy to freeze and preserve
